HedgerX deposit not credited: causes and fixes
Most missing deposits are waiting for network confirmations or are missing a memo or tag. Check the transaction ID in a block explorer first, then compare it against the causes below.
What to check, in order
- Find the transaction ID. Look it up in a block explorer for the network you used and confirm the transfer succeeded.
- Compare the confirmations. Each network needs a set number before HedgerX credits the deposit. The deposit page shows the count for your coin.
- Check the memo or tag. XRP, XLM, BNB on BEP-2, TON and EOS need one. A missing or wrong memo means the deposit may not be credited.
- Check the network and the address. Funds sent to an address that does not belong to HedgerX cannot be retrieved.
- Check the minimum. A deposit below the minimum for that coin is not credited.
- Contact support. If it is still missing after the confirmations, send support the transaction ID, the deposit address, the coin and the amount, and a screenshot.

- A missing or incorrect memo or tag.
- An unsupported deposit channel, such as a smart contract.
- An incorrect deposit address.
- An unsupported token or network. These deposits may be lost, and recovery can involve high fees and a long wait with no guarantee.
- A deposit below the minimum amount.
Avoid it next time
Check the address, memo and minimum amount before you send. HedgerX also advises a small test transfer before a large deposit, and a look at its announcements for changes to supported tokens, networks and maintenance.
Frequently asked questions
How long does support take?
HedgerX says it usually responds within 24 to 48 hours. Complex cases, such as recovering deposits of unsupported tokens, can take up to 10 business days.
I forgot the memo. Can I still get the deposit?
Submit a support ticket with the transaction ID, the amount, the deposit address and the correct memo. HedgerX reviews each case and may credit it by hand if ownership can be confirmed, but cannot promise it.
Why did a deposit from a smart contract not arrive?
HedgerX supports direct transfers. Deposits generated by contracts may not be credited automatically, and you should contact support.
