How to deposit crypto on HedgerX
Open Wallet, pick the coin and the network, copy the address and send from your other wallet. HedgerX charges no deposit fee. Choosing the wrong network can lose the funds.
Match the network exactly. A coin sent on a different network from the one you selected on HedgerX can be lost permanently.
Do not send from a smart contract. HedgerX says contract deposits may not be credited automatically.
Send a small test amount first. HedgerX recommends a test transfer before large deposits.
Deposit steps
- Open the deposit page. On the web, click the wallet icon at the top right and choose Deposit. In the app, go to Wallet, then Deposit.
- Choose the coin. Search for the coin or pick it from the list.
- Choose the network. It must match the network your sending wallet uses. HedgerX's example: USDT sent on Ethereum uses the ERC-20 network.
- Copy the address. HedgerX generates a deposit address for you. Copy it or scan the QR code, and use the latest address shown on the page.
- Send from your wallet. Paste the address, confirm that the network matches and add the memo or tag if the coin needs one.
- Wait for confirmations. After the network confirms the transfer, the funds appear under Assets.
Confirmations by network
HedgerX credits a deposit once the network reaches a set number of confirmations. The times below are HedgerX’s approximations, and congestion makes them longer.

Memo and tag
XRP, XLM, BNB on the BEP-2 network, TON and EOS need a memo or tag next to the address. Leave it out or get it wrong and the deposit may not be credited, so copy it exactly.

A deposit below the coin’s minimum is not credited. The deposit page shows the minimum for each coin. Check it before you send.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a deposit take?
It depends on the network. HedgerX gives approximate times in the table below, from about 2 minutes on TRON to 30 to 60 minutes on Bitcoin. Use the transaction ID in a block explorer to track it.
Can I cancel a deposit?
No. A blockchain transaction cannot be reversed once it is sent.
Why is my deposit address different from last time?
HedgerX may update deposit addresses for security. Always copy the current address from the deposit page.
Is there a deposit fee?
HedgerX does not charge one. The blockchain network charges a miner fee for the transfer.
Can I deposit from any wallet or exchange?
Yes, if the sending side supports the network you selected. An unsupported network can make the deposit fail or lose the funds.
